Job Descriptions:
Manager, Technical Marketing and Customer Support, promotes fiber optical products to telecommunication, enterprise networking, CATV, and MSO equipment companies. Supports sales account manger to formulate account strategy and share responsibility of account relationship. Provides input on Company's product development roadmap based on customer demands and market trend.

Job Functions:
Essential
- Marketing fiber optical component, module and subsystem products/solutions to customers.
- Building relationship with customer engineers.
- Understanding customer technical requirements. Proposing product solutions for customers' application and negotiating technical specifications.
- Coordinating all level of resources of the company to win design-in opportunities and resolve technical issues.
Supplementary
An inter-departmental communicator (Sales, ENG, and PLM) to share technical knowledge, market trend and customer activities.


Job Requirement:
Training or Skills
In depth knowledge of fiber optical components, DWDM, EDFA, ROADM module and subsystems. Excellent communication skills. Team player, self-starter and result-oriented.
Experience
Bachelor degree in physics or engineering minimum. Advanced degree strongly desired. At least 4 years prior experience in fiber optical industry is required. Experience in sales, marketing, program management, or PLM is strongly desired.


Position opens in Fremont, California. Domestic and international travel required.
Technical Marketing and Product Engineer
Job Descriptions:
Technical Marketing and Product Engineer, under the supervision of Technical Marketing Manager, promotes fiber optical products to telecommunication, enterprise networking, CATV, and MSO equipment companies.

Job Functions:
Essential
- Assisting Technical Marketing Manager in marketing fiber optical component, module and subsystem products/solutions to customers.
- Building relationship with customer engineers.
- Understanding customer technical requirements. Assisting Technical Marketing Manager to propose product solutions for customers' application and negotiating technical specifications by analyzing customer requirements and internal technical capabilities.
- Assisting resources coordination to win design-in opportunities and resolve technical issues.
- Preparing technical documentation.
Supplementary

Job Requirement:

Experience
B.S. in physics, physical sciences, or engineering. Solid background in optics. Advanced degree is desired. New graduate with advanced degree is encouraged to apply.

Job Descriptions:
Direct, plan, manage development of optical transceiver & subsystems product lines. Manage and drive priorities of new product development projects in multinational R & D engineering team environment. Lead product life cycle management process to ensure product-marketing objectives are incorporated into the R&D. Interface with engineering, manufacturing, sales & marketing to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustain existing products. Lead & identify new opportunities to position the company's products. Develop product roadmap and technology platforms aligned with company business strategy. Ownership of product line profit/loss by driving top line growth and product cost optimization.
